Utilizing a decade of experience in the Alabama retail market, Spencer works on the Capital Growth Tenant Representation team, with a goal of providing clients with unmatched market knowledge and strategic consultation. He has worked with some of the most notable retail brands in the country and specializes in placing them in their ideal location whether it is in a shopping center lease or a land transaction. Notable Clients include Harbor Freight Tools, Dollar Tree, and Aspen Dental. In addition to Tenant Rep work, Spencer supports the firm’s development business, working to identify new opportunities.

Prior to joining CGRE in 2013 Spencer Worked for The Shopping Center Group (TSCG) from 2005-2013 where he specialized in Tenant Representation in both their Gulf Coast and Birmingham, AL offices.

A Birmingham Native, Spencer graduated from The University of Alabama with a BA in Marketing. He is actively involved in the Birmingham community. When he isn’t in the office, Spencer enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He considers himself a foodie and can often be found at a University of Alabama sporting event.
